SEATTLE — 

On Sunday, Mayor Ed Murray raised the Pride Flag at City Hall.

The Pride Flag marks the beginning of the Month of Pride in Seattle.

Also joining in the celebration were musicians, poets, and LGBT advocates -- from across Seattle, according to a statement from the Mayor's office.

The 41^st annual Seattle Pride Parade will be held on June 28^th.

Mayor Ed Murray tweeted a few of the attached photographs from the event, writing -- ‘Today we raised the Pride flag at #Seattle City Hall.
